Upon invitation from the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Istanbul European Capital of Culture, we set out to make a museum catalogue for the city. The work revealed new ways to read a city neighbourhood as well as questioned the challenges of museum display to translate cultural material to a public. The project resulted in a website, a bookwork, and an installation at the Sanat Limani Gallery, Istanbul, where guests to the museum were invited to take the objects out of the space and back into the city where they originated.
